WHO ARE WE?

We are a Class “A” Construction business based out of Bedford, Virginia. We specialize in Post Frame Construction. This includes, pole barns, garages, and the ever-growing in popularity, BARNDOMINIUMS! We started building barndominiums in early 2020 after my wife and I decided that we needed a house with open living space and wanted to focus mainly on interior and hosting. Then Covid-19 hit. Our budget went way above our expectation. Out of necessity, we decided that I will HAVE to do this myself instead of hiring out contractors. I mean, I have built pole barns, and garages in the past, how hard can it be! Right? As anyone remembers, materials were outrages, wait times were unrealistic, and the dream of our house being under budget still seemed so far away. My wife and I are “outside the box” thinkers. There is never one singular way to do something. So… we bought a sawmill… while still working a full-time job, cutting down trees, milling timber, kiln drying (we built a kiln and that’s another story in itself), and getting a build site ready. We were finally ready to start construction! We had connections with an Amish crew, and they helped me complete this build. We kept connected with the Amish crew and the discussions continued about building another! Yes, my wife and I are gluten for punishment. This time, we built, a 3 bed 2 bath barndominium. And so, the itch to help others achieve their dream was there! There is a need in the state of Virginia to build homes. Affordable, high quality, equity building homes. We continue to use Amish labor and fantastic sub-contractors for the trades. Although materials are still higher than they have been in the past, we can still build faster and more cost effectively than our competitors!
